INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY...

We have an extensive information and communications technology network, allowing our teachers and students to participate in the latest developments in this area. All classrooms are equipped with computers in all rooms. All rooms have access to E-mail and the Internet.

The school has built up considerable expertise in Information Technology and is committed to further developments in this area. For some years now we have been involved in various research programmes and other projects with the School of Education from Waikato University.

We have an active Home Page on the World Wide Web. www.stjosephs.school.nz This contains children's work, the weekly newsletter, and other information about the school.

A Technology suite will be added with our Library refurbishments.

Data projectors are in all senior rooms. Sound-fields are throughout our Year 0 – 4 junior classes and all classes from Year 3 – 8 have Television and DVD access.
