Carbon Crusade

On 5 June the St Joseph's Enviro agents, together with other schools around the Waikato went on the Carbon Crusade trip.

Alex , Liam , Dominic, Georgia and Abby spoke to the group about some of the things we do in our school for the Environment; we also presented the mayor of Hamilton Mr Bob Simcock with a photo of our school enviro project.

All schools had to participate in a 4km walk around the Rotokauri area. 

After completing 2km of the walk we planted a tree then we continued our walk to the finish.

Once we completed our walk everyone got a goodie bag full of Muesli, magnets and another carry bag, there was also a free sausage sizzle.  We all had a great time and I can't wait until the next one
