Our Junior School Team has five Year 0-2 classes. These are taught by the energetic and caring team.
. Unit Studies The children begin the year learning all about money. What it looks like, the value of notes and coins and explore money using real contexts.The first unit for the term is Friends and Families. This is a great way to get to know the children. Later on in the Term we will be learning about Spiders. Lent begins on March 11th. We will recognise this special time with mufti days beginnng on Friday 11th March until the end of term. School Swimming and Swimming Sports Swimming at Water World begins week 3. Please make sure all swimming items are named and in a named bag. Swimming sports are held on 24th of February. The 0-3 events run from 10.30-12.00 at the Municipal Pools which is the swimming complex down by the Police Station. The junior swimming sports are a non-competive, fun experience for the children. Children will travel to and from the pools by bus. When the junior events are completed you may take you child, just let your class teacher know.
