Our Junior School Team has five Year 0-2 classes. These are taught by the energetic and caring team of, Donna Mace, Maureen Henry, Donna Fitzwater, Liz Boyd, Nicky Kampjes and Susan Reilly.
What's Happening in Term One? You will have noticed that the deck is well underway (check out the photo below). It is going to be a wonderful area for the juniors to use. Presently, the whole school is swimming at Waterworld. This, I am sure is a wonderful relief for our little ones in this hot weather. Whole School Masses for Term One We begin our study of Lent with Ash Wednesday Mass on 17th February at 9.00am. St Joseph's Day is celebrated with a Mass on the 19th March 11.30. Unit Studies The first unit for the term is Myself and familes. This is a great way to get to know the children. Later on in the Term we will be learning about the life cycle of butterflies. School Swimming Sports The swimming sports are held on 25th of February. The 0-3 events run from 10.30-12.00 at the Municipal Pools which is the swimming complex down by the Police Station. The junior swimming sports are a non-competive, fun experience for the children. Children will travel to and from the pools by bus. When the junior events are completed you may t Balloon Visit We are lucky to have a balloon visit our school again this year. Book in the 25th March from 1.30-3.00. This was a great experience for the children last year, as they got to walk through the balloon. Keep an eye on this site for regular updates...
